For part of my 1960's research I have decided to study one of the most famous icons to ever live, Audrey Hepburn. Her famous dress from Breakfast at Tiffany's has been part of my inspiration for my little black dress. The dress was designed by Hubert Givenchy. The dress is floor length, made from Italian silk and fitted to fit the silhouette of Hepburn. I have made designs inspired by Givenchy which include tight fitted dresses to highlight the women figure. Both floor length and knee length.
